The Flood.

We’re all faced with incredibly hard trials.
We’re all trying to make contentious decisions.
We’re all fighting off sin.
We’re all striving to be like Christ.
We’re all competing to be the best.
We’re all attempting to be loved.
and be beautiful.
None of us are succeeding are we?
We’re all in pain.

"You don’t realize how strong you really are, until being strong is all you have left."
Being brave is just acting in faith.

We just have to push forward.

I often feel abandoned, when life isn’t going the way I thought it was going to be. It always seems as though just as I get my feet on the ground the rug is ripped out from under me.

Like foreshadowing in a book, I know God does the same for our lives.

I often find myself thinking, “Real funny God!” because of the ridiculous, predictable irony in all our lives.

Henry B. Eyring said, In "Mountains to Climb"

“If the foundation of faith is not embedded in our hearts, the power to endure will crumble.
That particle of faith most precious and which you should protect and use to whatever extent you can is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ."

We're not left to do it all on our own.

The lord Promised:

Joshua 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

God loves all of His children, and He will never cease to love and to hope for us.

God will wipe away … the tears of anguish, and remorse, … and fear, and guilt”

Jesus promised, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: … Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” John 14:27

"That curing does not come automatically through the passage of time, but it does take time.

Getting older does not do it alone.

It is serving God and others persistently with full heart and soul that turns testimony of truth into unbreakable spiritual strength."

If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest as well as the easiest times in life can be a blessing.

In all conditions, we can choose the right with the guidance of the Spirit.

We have the gospel of Jesus Christ to shape and guide our lives if we choose it. And with prophets revealing to us our place in the plan of salvation, we can live with perfect hope and a feeling of peace.

We never need to feel that we are

 alone

or unloved

in the Lord’s service because we never are.

We can feel the love of God.

The Savior has promised angels on our left and our right to bear us up.

And He always keeps His word.

His love is unfailing.
Like I said, we’re all in pain.
But He is there to help.

We’re all striving to survive.

“We are the reckless, we are the wild youth. “

Happiness seems to be such a rarity.

This song has it all.

“And if you're still bleeding, you're the lucky ones.
'Cause most of our feelings, they are dead and they are gone.
We're setting fire to our insides for fun.
Collecting pictures from the flood that wrecked our home,
It was a flood that wrecked this... “

“and if you're in love, then you are the lucky one,
'Cause most of us are bitter over someone.
Setting fire to our insides for fun,
To distract our hearts from ever missing them.
But I'm forever missing him.” –Daughter
